Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They help the service recognise your device, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies only where they are necessary to provide and secure Parallel. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural profiling.

3. The cookies we use

Essential / authentication cookies — these are required for Parallel to work. They keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect your account. Without these cookies, you cannot use the app.

These cookies are set by our authentication and backend provider (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) when you sign in or create an account.

4. Analytics

We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future to help us improve Parallel, we will ask for your consent where required and update this policy.

5. Third-party cookies

We do not allow third-party advertising cookies. The only third-party cookies are those set by our essential service providers (for example, authentication and hosting) as needed to run the app.

6. Managing cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser or device settings. Because our essential cookies are needed for sign-in and security, removing them will log you out and may stop parts of Parallel from working.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
