1. Who we are

Parallel is a daily planning app for parents and families, operated by Parallel Planner Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17299506), registered office 24 Shackleton Way, London, England, E16 2JT ("Parallel", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using Parallel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Using Parallel

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parallel is designed to be used by adults to organise family life, including entering information about their own children. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

3. What Parallel does

Parallel helps you plan your day and your family's day, including an assistant that turns the information you enter into a suggested schedule. The assistant is a planning aid: it can make mistakes, and you are responsible for reviewing and deciding what to act on. Parallel does not provide medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

4. Subscriptions, free trial and payment

Parallel offers an optional auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial:

  • Monthly — £1.99/month
  • Annual — £19.99/year (2 months free)

After the 7-day free trial, payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Prices may change for new subscribers. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter into Parallel. You grant us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you enter, including any information about other people in your household.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Parallel — including attempting to disrupt the service, access it unlawfully, reverse-engineer it, or use it to store or share unlawful content.

7. Cancelling and deleting your account

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple Account settings, and you can delete your account from within the app. When you delete your account, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of Parallel. We aim to keep the service running smoothly but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

9. Our liability

Parallel is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on assistant-generated schedules. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Parallel means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
